The Ziesel:
a whole new way
to experience the mountain!

The German word ‘Ziesel’ refers to a gopher, a nimble and hardworking creature. At the Mooshaus, the ‘Ziesel’ is an electric off-road vehicle that enables quiet, emission-free and speedy travel as it zooms up and down the mountains.

The Ziesel is a small vehicle featuring rubber caterpillar tracks that provide plenty of grip and are specially designed for use in normal and deep levels of snow. It has a top speed of 35 km/h.

We will be offering two guided tours a day as of December, both open to four people. A one-hour tour will take place at 16:00 and the 90-minute night tour will begin at 20:30. Under a clear sky when the moon is shining, the night tour is truly breathtaking.

In the case of larger groups, we recommend following a circular route as this enables all participants to drive a few laps. A journey with the Ziesel is a unique and action-packed experience – make sure you don’t miss out!
